EVENT OVERVIEW:
The ArtLift Festival is a celebration of creativity, connection, and community, designed for families, youth, and anyone who loves to explore art. It’s a day where imaginations can run wild and stories come to life through the power of creativity. With five unique art stations and a giant collaborative mural project, the festival offers a hands-on experience that’s as inspiring as it is fun. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or are already a passionate artist, there’s something here for everyone.
Each station is a gateway to a new creative adventure. From painting with watercolours and acrylics to designing your own characters or creating comic strips, the activities are designed to spark curiosity and encourage self-expression. Our volunteers and student artists will host and guide these stations. Children can dive into fun and playful projects, teens can explore storytelling and design, and adults can refine their skills or simply enjoy the creative process. Every station is welcoming and accessible, ensuring everyone has the chance to create something truly their own.
One of the highlights of the festival is the community mural project, a collaborative masterpiece where every participant’s mini canvas contributes to a larger work of art. Together, we’ll create a mural that celebrates the theme “Art & Community: Stories That Unite Us.” It’s a powerful reminder that every piece, no matter how small, adds to the bigger picture—just like in our own lives and communities.
